Sustainable Bridport officially launched at the end of April at a packed event in Bridport Town Hall. 14yrs since the start of Transition Town Bridport, the aim of the organisation is still to build a strong and resilient local community for the future, but as more people are feeling the direct and indirect consequences of climate change the new name will offer a clearer message and make the organisation accessible to more people.

As well as an update on the current projects Sustainable Bridport are working on, the evening incorporated a visioning exercise. There are going to be big changes in the years ahead and we need to be able to think creatively about what and how we would like our town and community to look like. You can only build something you can imagine first!

It generated lots of great ideas, and by working together we can make strides towards achieving this.
